Emulsion adhesive silicone (paint-primer) ANSERGOB EG 62 Quartz grunt Silicone is used as for treatment of mineral surfaces (concrete, lime-cement, cement-sand mortars, brickwork, gypsum surfaces and etc.) as for treatment of organic surfaces (particle board, OSB, plywood and etc.) to increase adhesion, strength surface and to simplify the application of decorative acrylic or silicone plasters ANSERGLOB. Also ANSERGLOB EG 62 Silicone is used for creation of the contact layers on solid, smooth and surfaces with low water sorption (concrete, silicate brick and etc.), and on the surfaces with almost zero water sorption (ceramic-granite, glass, glazed tile and etc.). It’s used in the exterior insulation finishing system ANSERGLOB, including for temporary closing-down of facades on winter period. ANSERGLOB EG 62 Silicone is tinted by Color Sys-tem. Significantly decreases the possibility to appear spots on colored decorative plasters. Emulsion adhesive ANSERGOB EG 62 Silicone can be used for interior or exterior substrates surfaces. ANSERGOB EG 62 Silicone is especially recommended for surfaces which need excellent water vapor permeable and waterproof properties.
The surface preparation is realized according to State Standard of Ukraine (DSTU N B A.3.1-23:2013) and State Building Codes of Ukraine (DBN В.2.6-22-2001). Surface must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from dust, lime, grease, dirt, oil or emulsion paints. Before applying the emulsion adhesive fragile areas of the substrate should be thoroughly removed.
Gypsum surface and surfaces with strong water sorption (lime-cement, sand-cement mortars) must be treated by one of the deep penetrating primers ANSERGLOB, after that emulsion adhesive ANSERGOB EG 62 could be applied and exposed to full drying (3-6 hours).
Before application the emulsion adhesive ANSERGLOB EG 62 Silicone must be thoroughly mixed by the drill on the low revs. The primer is applied with the brush or block brush. Dried paint-primer is resistant to the mechanical treatments. When applied avoid the drying of the primer and wash the hands and tools by water.
Note: Application should be complied at temperature above +5 °С and below +30 °С. All the mentioned recom-mendations are effective at temperature of +20 °С and air humidity of 60 %. Under the other conditions dry-ing time may be changed.
Consumption of the emulsion adhesive is 0,2-0,4 L per m2 average.
