The emulsion hydrophobizing ANSERGLOB ES 66 WATER STOP is an universal water-repellent product that provides efficient protection of the walls from wetting in contact with precipitation. After treatment by this impregnation on the surface of the building structure a protective layer appears that avoids moisture pe-netrating wherein while the walls of building keep the water vapor permeable that is important for dwellings. Emulsion hydrophobizing ANSERGLOB ES 66 WATER STOP is efficient for giving waterproof properties very to alkaline substrates: brick, ceramic, concrete constructions, plastered mineral surfaces, porous rocks of natural stone (limestone, sandstone). It is recommended for protecting of the glazed tile grouting (after 7 days). The film after drying is transparent. It is suitable for interior or exterior substrates. It is not intended for weak sorption surfaces, synthetic paints, for protection the surfaces with polymeric coating (decorative plasters, spackling paste, paints and etc.). It is not suitable for the surfaces exposed to mechanical treatment and for protection building structure of water treatment.
The surface preparation is realized according to State Standard of Ukraine (DSTU N B A.3.1-23:2013) and State Building Codes of Ukraine (DBN В.2.6-22-2001). Surface must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from dust, grease, dirt, oil or emulsion paints. Before applying the emulsion hydrophobizing fragile areas of the substrate should be removed.
Before application the emulsion hydrophobizing ANSERGOB ES 66 must be thoroughly mixed. It is ap-plied manually with the brush in one or two layers by “wet on wet” or mechanically by sprayer.
Note: Hydrophobic layer appears after 48 hours. During this time treated surface must be protected from wetting. The surfaces treated by the emulsion hydrophobizing could be painted after 6 months. Application should be complied at temperature above +5 °С and below +30 °С. All the mentioned recommendations are effective at temperature of +20 °С and air humidity of 60 %. Under the other conditions drying time may be changed.
Consumption of emulsion hydrophobizing is 0,1-0,2 L per m2 average.
