Self-leveling screed ANSERGLOB LFF 74 is used for finishing laying and leveling of concrete, cement-sand and stoned beds in commercial and civil buildings, warehouses and staircases and etc. Cured screed meets the requirements of finishing floors and can be used under various coatings, such as linoleum, carpet, laminate, parquet, ceramic tiles, natural stone and others. Screed ANSERGLOB LFF 74 is suitable for floor heating systems.
The foundation is prepared according to DSTU - N B A.3.1-23:2013, SNiP 2.03.13-88 and DSTU- N B V.2.6-212:2016. The base must be strong, dry, free of dust, dirt, bitumen, grease, oil or emulsion paints. Before applying the solution, weak areas of the base must be carefully removed. The cement surface is cleaned of cement milk with a steel brush or a sandblaster. Thus, the adhesion of smooth surfaces is increased. Cracks in the bases must be patched up, treated with one of the ANSERGLOB deep-penetrating soils and closed with the ANSERGLOB LFF 74 mixture. Before carrying out work, the absorbing bases must be treated with one of the ANSERGLOB deep-penetrating soils and allowed to stand for 4 hours. Weakly absorbent bases should be treated with ANSERGLOB EG 62 or ANSERGLOB EG 63 BETON KONTAKT soil before starting work and allowed to stand for 3 to 6 hours. Insufficient quality of preparatory work can lead to peeling or cracking of the laid layer.
Prepared screed mortar is poured on bed and spread on the surface with feather edge, wide spatula or other tool. For removal air bubbles from the mortar it is required to provide deaeration using rigid spiked roller. In order to feed solution piston or screw pump can be used. All works on the preparation, spreading and smoothing of each portion of mortar should be carried out for 30 min. At breaks in work more than 30 min tools and equipment must be cleaned from mortar and washed with water. Cured mortar can be removed only in mechanical way.
When applying mortar and during curing to prevent cracking it is required to avoid of draught and fast drying of screed. Depending on the curing conditions, application thickness and residual moisture of bed (not more than 4 %), further works should be done not less than after 3 days for the installation of ceramic and stone tile and 7 days for laying parquet, linoleum and carpet.
Note:Strength of bed must be not less than next layer.
Application should be complied at temperature above +5°С and below +30°С. All the mentioned recommendations are effective at temperature of +20°С and air humidity of 60%. Under the other conditions crusting, stiffening and curing time may be changed.
Average consumption of the mixture is 1,7 kg per m2 at 1 mm layer thickness.
Dry mixture must be poured into container with clear water according to ratio 0,18-0,20 liters of water per 1 kg of mixture (4,5 – 5 liters of water per 1 bag of 25 kg) when at the same time manually or mechanically mixed (by the drill on low revs) to obtain the kindred and elastic mass. After exposing 5 min mortar must be mixed again and can be used. Excess quantity of water leads to reducing quality, decreases strength and can lead to delaminating that is unacceptable.
