Starting plastering cement-lime gray mortar ANSERGLOB ВСТ 19 is intended for machine and manual “traditional” application of the main leveling plaster layer on strong non-deformable bases made of heavy concrete, foam and aerated concrete, slag and expanded clay concrete, sawn stone – shell rock, ceramic and silicate brick and other materials. The ANSERGLOB ВСТ 19 starting plaster mortar can be used inside buildings, in industrial and residential premises. The plaster is a good base for applying finishing thin-layer coatings made of cement, gypsum or acrylic compositions.
The surface preparation is realized according to State Standard of Ukraine (DSTU N B A.3.1-23:2013) and DSTU N B A.2.6-212:2016. The surface must structurally sound, cleaned up from the dust, dirt, lime, grease, oil or emulsion paints. Fragile areas of substrate must be thoroughly removed. Before applying the plaster the substrates with strong water sorption must be treated by one of the deep penetrating emulsions ANSERGLOB and exposed for 4 hours. The substrates with low water sorption must be treated by adhesion emulsion ANSERGLOB EG 62 or ANSERGLOB EG 63 BETON KONTAKTand exposed for 3-6 hours. Porous substrates of slag-concrete, clayite concrete, sawn limestone does not require additional treatment. Before applying the plaster mortar the surface must be abundantly wetted by water.
When applied by machine, the plaster mortar is fed by a mixing unit and applied with a plaster nozzle to the surface to be treated. When applied manually, the mixture is thrown evenly onto the wall with a trowel or ladle, leveled with a rule and rubbed with a polystyrene foam or wooden grater. The remaining mortar must be collected and reused. If the leveling is performed in several layers, then each subsequent layer must be applied only after the previous one has hardened, but not earlier than after 24 hours.
Note: Application should be complied at temperature above +5°С and below +30°С. All the mentioned recommendations are effective at temperature of +20°С and air humidity of 60%. Under the other conditions crusting, stiffening and curing time may be changed.
Consumption of the mixture is 1,65 kg per m2 on 1 mm of layer.
When applying by machine, the dry mixture is mixed in a plastering unit, setting the water consumption to about 0.3 l of water/kg.
When applying by hand, the dry mixture must be poured into a container with clean water at the rate of 0.22 - 0.24 l of water per 1 kg of the mixture (5.5 - 6.0 l of water per 25 kg bag) while simultaneously mixing manually or mechanically (with a drill at low speed) until a homogeneous mass with the required consistency is obtained. After 5 minutes, the mixture must be mixed again, after which it can be used for 2 hours. During the work, the consistency of the mortar mixture should be maintained by re-mixing, not by adding water.
