The mixture of adhesive and reinforcing ANSERGLOB BCX 41 PRO is intended for the arrangement of a waterproofing layer, and also for gluing of expanded polystyrene, foam glass and rigid mineral wool plates on a surface from concrete, brick, foam concrete, cement-sandy, cement-limestone, limestone, gypsum. The adhesive mixture can be used inside and outside homes in industrial and residential premises. The waterproofing layer can serve as a basis for finishing with finishing decorative plasters and ANSERGLOB putties. The mixture is elastic and therefore can be used in some cases to arrange a waterproofing layer on the plinths of buildings.
Preparation of the surface is carried out in accordance with DSTU - N B A.3.1-23: 2013, DBN V.2.6-33: 2008 and DSTU-N B V.2.6-212: 2016. The base must be sufficiently strong and even, free from dust, dirt , lime, fats, oil or emulsion paints. Unstable sections of the base must be removed. Roughnesses of the base must be leveled with the starting plaster mixture ANSERGLOB BST 20. Strongly absorbing substrates must be treated with one of the deep-penetrating ANSERGLOB emulsions before work and allowed to stand for 4 hours. Weak-absorbing substrates are processed by ANSERGLOB EG 62 before starting work and aged from 3 to 6 hours. Before installing a protective reinforcing layer, it is necessary to perform mechanical fastening of the insulation boards (dowels). After 3 days after gluing the polystyrene boards, the unevenness of the base should be sanded with abrasive paper fixed to a hard half. Mineral wool plates are not sanded.
The prepared adhesive mixture ANSERGLOB BCX 41 PRO is applied to the inner surface of the plate in a strip method in the case when there are roughnesses up to 5 mm on the wall surface, and polystyrene boards are used as insulation. The mortar mixture is applied in the form of strips at a distance of 20 mm from the edges of the plate along the entire perimeter, and then in the middle. The stripes applied around the perimeter should be intermittent, so that when the board is glued, air jams do not form. In a combined method, the mortar mixture is applied when the wall surface has irregularities of up to 10 mm and the project provides for the use of expanded polystyrene heat-insulating plates. The adhesive composition is applied to the surface of the heat-insulating board around the entire perimeter in strips of 50 - 80 mm wide and 5 - 10 mm thick, at a distance of 20 mm from its edges. The strips should be intermittent so that when sticking the slab no air jams form. And in the middle of the slab in two, four places, flip flops-beacons measuring 150 - 180 mm. In a solid method, the mortar mixture is applied when the surface of the building envelope is flat, without protrusions and indentations, and also when mineral wool or polystyrene plates are used as insulation. The layer is applied to the entire surface of the plate and leveled with a gear grater or trowel with teeth of 10 - 12 mm. Before applying the main layer of the adhesive mixture to the insulation, it is necessary to prime the surface of the insulation with the same adhesive mixture. When applying the continuous method, the adhesive mixture should be removed from the edges of the insulation by 10 - 15 mm. In any case, the amount of solution should be such as to connect the plate with the base at least 60% of its plane. The solution should not fall on the ends of the plates, the remains of the solution must be removed.
Attention! When using extruded polystyrene foam boards as a heater before gluing to the base, it is necessary to carry out machining of its glossy surface on both sides with abrasive material. The application of the mixture on extruded polystyrene foam boards must be carried out exclusively in a solid method.
Setting of waterproofing layer.
For setting of waterproofing layer on the plate surface mortar ANSERGLOB BCX 40 is used by notch spatula with notch size is 8-10 mm, pressed in it reinforcing fiberglass mesh (density 145 g per m2) and then smoothly spackling so reinforcing mesh will be inside of mortar layer on 1/3. Mesh is laid by canvas from up to down with overlapping edges in 10 cm. Average thickness of the reinforcing layer – 3 mm, maximum – 5 mm. Application of decorative protective coating is started in 3 days after setting reinforcing protective layer. Before applying the mortar surface must be treated by one of deep penetrating primers ANSERGLOB. When using extruded polystyrene (XPS) board as heat insulating material before bonding to the substrate it is required to treat both sides of glossy surface mechanically by abrasive.
The consumption of the mixture is 4.5–5 kg / m2 for gluing polystyrene foam, 5–7 kg / m2 for gluing mineral wool boards, 4–5 kg / m2 for performing the reinforcing layer.
The dry mixture must be filled into a container with clean water at the rate of 0.20 - 0.22 liters of water per 1 kg of mixture (5.0 - 5.5 liters of water per 25 kg bag) while stirring manually or mechanically (drill at low speed) ) to obtain a homogeneous and plastic mass. After 5 minutes, the mixture must be stirred again, after which it can be used for 2 hours.
