Mortar for bricklaying and spackling the walls of cellular concrete ANSERGLOB ВСМ 12 is used for construction of interior and exterior walls by the blocks of insulating cellular concrete, such as autoclaved aerated concrete, foam concrete, gas silicate, etc. It’s used for sticking insulation boards of cellular concrete to concrete beds and brickworks. Due to high adhesion to the substrate it provides a monolithic, high strength and rigidity of the constructed elements. It is suitable for spackling above-listened substrates.
The surface preparation is realized according to State Standard of Ukraine (DSTU N B A.3.1-23:2013, DSTU N B A.2.6-212:2016) and State Building Codes of Ukraine (DBN В.2.6-162:2010). The surface must be dry and structurally sound without visible destructions. Before applying it is required to clean up the blocks from the dust, dirt and other substances, that hinds the masonry mortar adhesion to it, remove fragile areas. Surfaces, on which are bricks and block laid, must be prepared accordingly.
Masonry mortar is applied with the bricklayer's trowel or stainless spatula evenly on the contacting surface and leveled by notch trowel (notch size 4-10 mm). Recommended thickness of working joint is from 2 mm to 5 mm. Blocks are installed on the spread mortar, their position is corrected with the rubber hammer during 5 min after laying. Curing time of the mixture depends on origin of the substrate, temperature and humidity of air and is 24 hours as minimum.
While spackling the walls the mortar is applied on just pretreated by primer surface with stainless float or spatula. Then mortar is leveled by stainless float. After applying and drying surface irregularities must be removed by sandpaper or sanding mesh.
Note: Application should be complied at temperature above +5°С and below +30°С. All the mentioned recommendations are effective at temperature of +20°С and air humidity of 60%. Under the other conditions crusting, stiffening and curing time may be changed.
Consumption of the mixture is 1,5 kg per m2 on 1 mm of permanent layer.
Dry mixture must be poured into container with clear water according to ratio 0,24-0,26 liters of water per 1 kg of mixture (6-6,5 liters of water per 1 bag of 25 kg) at the same time manually or mechanically mixed (by the drill on low revs) to obtain the kindred and elastic mass. After exposing 5 min mortar must be mixed again and used during 2 hours.
