ANSERGLOB acrylic sealant is designed for sealing, filling cracks, seams and cavities that are subject to minor deformations during internal and external work. Used on surfaces made of wood, aluminum, brick, concrete, plaster, asbestos cement, PVC, etc .. Do not use in structures that are constantly exposed to water (showers, tanks, swimming pools) and on bitumen surfaces. After curing of the sealant, the surface can be painted if necessary. Waterproof. It has no smell.
Preparation of the basis is carried out according to DSTU - N B A.3.1-23: 2013. The base must be dry and strong, free from dust, dirt, grease, oil or emulsion paints. During repair work before applying the sealant it is necessary to remove the fragile parts of the base, as well as the remnants of old sealing materials. For dedusting, strengthening of weak strongly absorbing mineral bases, the surface needs to be processed by ANSERGLOB deep-penetrating soil. After drying (3 - 6 hours) you can apply a sealant.
The sealant must be applied with a mounting gun. To do this, use a knife to cut the tip of the cartridge above the thread, screw the cap and then cut at an angle of 450 the top of the cap with a diameter corresponding to the width of the hole. After that, the cartridge is installed in the gun and the sealant is applied under pressure to the seam of the structure. In order to make a smooth seam, it is necessary to seal the edges of the hole with masking tape. The seam must be even and free of voids. If necessary, the seam is leveled with a suitable tool, which is pre-moistened with water. After leveling the sealant, the masking tape must be removed. Fresh, uncured sealant can be removed with water if necessary. The hardened sealant is removed mechanically.
The consumption of sealant depends on the condition of the surface, the method of application, the width and depth of the seam. At a seam thickness of 4-5 mm the expense makes 15-18 ml / m.p.
